A self-made actor in every regard, Akshay Kumar’s career took off in the ‘90s with the success of his multiple Khiladi films. His image as an action star saw him create a niche himself through the decade until he switched things up and took on roles in films of the comedy and romance genre. In 2009, Akshay was reported as the highest taxpayer from Bollywood and has continued to be among the biggest actors in the country.
As far as his upcoming films are concerned, Akshay Kumar will be seen in Raksha Bandhan, Ram Setu, and Kathputli later this year. He is currently shooting for the Jaswant Singh Gill biopic called Capsule Gill and will be starring in the remake of Soorarai Pottru, which fetched Tamil Suriya a national award in the Best Actor category.
