Khushi Kapoor has ventured into the film industry, following in the footsteps of her parents Boney Kapoor and Sridevi, as well as her sister Janhvi. She made her cinematic debut in Zoya Akhtar's teen musical comedy The Archies.

Notably, Khushi Kapoor made news when she attended the film's premiere in Mumbai earlier this month by sporting her mother's outfit.

In her mother's old sparkly strapless gown, Khushi looked stunning. She accessorized it with diamond earrings and a necklace that also belonged to Sridevi. She wore her hair in a tidy bun to complete the ensemble. Sridevi wore the same outfit to the 2013 IIFA Awards.

Even though Khushi was already well-known for her role in The Archies, her touching decision to wear Sridevi's gown to the movie's earlier December premiere won over even more fans. In a recent interview, Khushi revealed her decision to wear her mother's outfit in order to feel her presence. She stated that she needed "some extra support that day".

She confessed that it was completely unintentional and that, before her big day, she had discussed the dress with her stylist. She was anxious about her "big day," so on the day of the premiere, she wanted to wear something of hers, whether it was a piece of jewelry or a dress. "I felt I needed some extra support that day. It is a big deal, I wanted her to be there with me in some way. So I went through some of the old clothes we have here and picked it out,” she added.

Sridevi and Boney Kapoor's daughter Khushi made her debut with the film, 'The Archies', which was released on Netflix on December 7. The film, directed by Zoya Akhtar also starred Agastya Nanda, Suhana Khan, Mihir Ahuja, Vedang Raina, Dot, and Yuvraj Menda. The story of the film is based on the life of popular fictional characters of the American comics but set in India.
