Khushi: Vijay Devarakonda, Samantha's starrer to get back with an action sequence

Vijay Devarakonda is yet to release his new film post the debacle of Liger. He was working on Khushi with Samantha when the latter fell sick and the team halted the shoot. Now that Sam is back on set, the film's shoot will start on the 8th of this month in Hyderabad. Shiva Nirvana has given an update about the film's shoot today.

As per his tweet, the film's shoot will start with an action episode. Peter Hynes has been roped in to compose this fight which is going to be quite key in the film. Samantha will also join the shoot this weekend. As of now, Vijay will start the shoot first and is busy prepping for this action sequence for a long time now.

This is the first time that Vijay has teamed up with Samantha as the main lead and so much is being said about their chemistry. Khushi is a romantic drama that was supposed to release as a Christmas special last year but was postponed due to Samantha's ill health. As of now, Samantha is busy shooting for her OTT show which is the remake of the English show Citadel which also has Varun Dhawan as the main lead.

On the other hand, Vijay Devarakonda has signed a film with Jersey fame Gutam Tinnanuri and he will be seen as a cop in this film. Once this is done, he will also do a film with Parasuram and the film will be produced by Dil Raju. Lineup-wise, Vijay Devarakonda has set up good films in the future but he needs to wrap up Khushi first which has been in the making for a long time now.
