For Netflix, it is the year of many brilliant projects, and the platform is starting 2024 with a show that brings two of the most prolific Indian actors together. Manoj Bajpayee and Konkona Sen Sharma are all set to bring us their Killer Soup, a show set to stream on the platform.
About Killer Soup:
For the unversed, Netflix has announced a series directed by Vishal Bhardwaj’s prodigy Abhishek Chaubey, who is known for his work on Sonchiriya and Ishqiya franchise. Titled Killer Soup, the series is a thriller that gives pulp fiction vibes. The series, starring Konkona Sen Sharma and Manoj Bajpayee, will stream on Netflix this coming week. The streaming giant has now shared a new promo of the series and it has only piqued our excitement further.
The new promo that Netflix shared on their official Instagram handle gives us more information about the leads. We meet the two Manoj Bajpayees, and also see the confusion this has led to. The mystery around the conflict remains untouched though. Fans are loving this new promo and they are expressing their excitement in the comments section of the post.
Sharing the promo, the streaming giant wrote in the caption, “Is it Umesh ya Prabhakar? Who is the romantic hero and who's the villain in this bowl of lies? Watch Killer Soup to find out! Killer Soup coming on 11 Jan only on Netflix!”

Meanwhile, Abhishek Chaubey recently spoke about bringing this very interesting cast together for Killer Soup. As per Money Control, he said, “When the writers and I were still developing the story, we always had Manoj and Konkona on board. In fact, I spoke to them about the show even before I had written it out. We were all excited to work with each other and these are also great parts. Honey (Trehan) came up with the idea of Sayaji Shinde and I jumped at casting them as brothers after Shool.
“When they started working with each other, after 20 years, it wasn't like a moment had gone by. Immediately the spark was there. As a Hindi filmmaker, you perhaps will never get a chance to work with so many actors but this was a show, and streaming sets you free like that,” he added.
