Kingdom box office collection day 10: Vijay Deverakonda's film yet to enter the profit zone, makes Rs 50 crore net

Kingdom is Vijay Devarakonda‘s new film that had to click at any cost. Released on July 31, 2025, the film opened to record collections across the globe. The day-one collections were the highest ever in Vijay Devarakonda‘s career. With the film releasing on a long weekend, it scored big money in its first weekend, but as the weekdays started, the collections and occupancy slowed down big time. 

Kingdom 10 days box office collection

Kingdom made only ₹47 crore net after its first week. Now, the action drama has completed 10 days of its run and has managed to make only ₹1.5 crore net on its 10th day, which is the second Saturday. With this, the total collections have crossed ₹50 crore net. That means the film has recovered only 85% of its budget. 

For it to be in the safe zone and for the makers to get into profits, Kingdom has to make close to ₹56 crore net. Made on a budget of ₹130 crore, Kingdom was directed by Gautham Tinnanuri and produced by Naga Vamsi on his Sithara Entertainments banner. 

Netflix bought the digital rights for a whopping ₹53 crore, and this made the producers recover half of the budget, with the rest expected to come through theatrical collections. With other films releasing and big films like Coolie and War 2 set to release in the days to come, it will be hard for Kingdom to make any more money. 

Kingdom yet to enter the profit zone

But the producers are not at all complaining, as they have recovered most of the money through post-theatrical rights. One can say Kingdom has ended as an above-average fare at the box office and given a respite to Vijay Devarakonda‘s career. 

Kingdom will also be releasing its second part, which is yet to be shot. The makers say that the second part will go on floors only in 2027. For now, Kingdom is yet to break into the profit zone, and let’s see how much it makes in the days to come. Stay tuned for more updates.
