Kingdom box office collection day 6: Vijay Deverakonda's film falls flat, yet to breakeven

Since it was a long weekend, the action drama continued to mint money and grossed just over ₹78 crore in its first weekend. Everyone was eager to see how the film would perform on a crucial Monday, but sadly, Kingdom fell flat, earning only ₹2 crore that day and failing the test.

The latest update is even more disappointing—collections have further dropped, with Kingdom managing to earn only ₹1.5 crore worldwide on day six. Occupancy has dropped significantly, which is a major concern. The film opened to mixed reviews, and this has caused the audience turnout to dip further.

Once the initial euphoria faded, the makers revealed that Kingdom was made on a budget of ₹130 crore. A major portion of this was recovered through the OTT deal backed by Netflix. However, the remaining amount was expected to be recovered from theatrical revenue, and by the looks of it, things are going to be difficult for Kingdom.
