Kingdom: Satyadev's role revealed in the Vijay Deverakonda starrer, here's what we know

Kingdom is one of the most awaited films in Telugu cinema. Featuring Vijay Devarakonda and Bhagyashree Borse as the main leads, the film has been postponed already twice. The other day, the makers finally locked a new release date and revealed that Kingdom will hit the screens on July 31, 2025.

A small teaser was also revealed by the makers, which showcases Vijay Devarakonda in a never-before-seen avatar. On the other hand, not many know that popular hero Satyadev is playing a key role in the film directed by Gautham Tinnanuri.

Well, we at OTTplay have some interesting info about the role played by Satyadev. We have come to know that Satya will be seen as the main villain in the film and will play a smuggler. The makers have purposely kept his look a secret, and as per the news, Satyadev will be seen in a terrific new avatar, which is going to be gruesome.

Satyadev generally plays the main lead, but as he loved the story, he came on board to play a main villain in Vijay Devarakonda‘s action drama. One of the sources close to the film says that Satya’s role has been kept as a surprise because the makers want to shock the audience with a completely new avatar of Satyadev.

Kingdom has been produced by Naga Vamsi on his Sitara Entertainments banner on a massive scale. The film budget is the highest ever in Vijay Devarakonda‘s career to date.

A lot of VFX work has been used in the film, and that is the reason the post-production has been taking a lot of time. Vijay Devarakonda plays a cop in this film who goes on a special mission, Bhagyashree Bose plays the female, and this is the first time that she is teaming up with Vijay Devarakonda. Their chemistry looks cracking in the promo, and there is a lot of hype on this film.

Netflix has backed the digital rights to this film for a fancy price, and as per the news Kingdom will be out exactly in a month on OTT after it’s theatrical release.

Vijay Deverakonda pins all hope on Kingdom

It has been quite some time since Vijay Deverakonda scored a major success in his career. His last two films have ended as big flops, and he has gone all out to make a comeback with Kingdom. He is sporting a new look in this film, which is high on action and drama.
