Salman Khan’s ‘big’ festive release for Eid, Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan is not the massive blockbuster the team was hoping it would be. The Hindi remake of Ajith’s 2014 Tamil film Veeram, Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan saw Salman return as leading man after a gap of over three years. Produced by the actor’s home banner, the April 21 theatrical release, which also stars Pooja Hegde, Venkatesh, Jagapathi Babu, Shehnaaz Gill, Raghav Juyal, Palak Tiwari, Jassie Gill, Siddharth Nigam, among many others, had fixed its digital partner earlier.

Zee5 had picked up the streaming rights of the Salman-starrer, and, following the film’s less than spectacular box office performance, it was said that it would drop on the platform within a month. According to the latest buzz, though, it is being said that Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan had been picked under an on or before 60-day contract and that the film would, therefore, be made available to subscribers of the platform from June 23 only. This, of course, has not been confirmed by the makers or the streamer, so, we will keep you posted as and when there is an update on this.

Meanwhile, Salman is set to have another big release this year, with Tiger 3. The film has been earmarked as a Diwali 2023 release and marks the actor’s return to the franchise after six years. Salman has not made any new film announcements in a while, but it is widely believed that he will reprise his character Avinash Rathore once more in Tiger Vs. Pathaan, a film in which he will co-star with Shah Rukh Khan. Salman had given his fans a glimmer of what to expect from this collaboration with his cameo in Shah Rukh’s Pathaan earlier this year.
