Among the many instances, Aditya Dhar’s Dhurandhar also came into limelight over the Balochi dialogue, stated by actor Naveen Kaushik. Although the dialogue is edited in the latest version which is currently running in theatres, the dialogue turned into reels on social media. During his recent interaction, Naveen Kaushik revealed the history behind the dialogue. Know all about it…

Speaking about his action sequence, Naveen Kaushik recalled how his character Donga’s moments were all scripted, but the Balochi dialogue came spontaneously. He recalled how Aditya Dhar simply directed him by stating that the energy needs to be how the opposition is not scared of anything. “Mere mooh se nikal gaya ki Balochi nahi banta isse,” seeing how there’s the Balochistan connection, Donga with grenade around, trying to scare the opposition. Naveen recalled how Aditya Dhar was smiling when he heard the dialogue but was confused whether the dialogue should be retained or not. The director was confused that the dialogue might not work with the scene. That led to Naveen giving another take without the dialogue. Eventually, Balochi dialogue was retained in the original version, but removed from the newer version.

Naveen further revealed the impact the dialogue left, and how people quoted him on social media for the same. “Logon ne reels bana diya uske upar. Mere ko Balochistan se comment aa rahe the,” the actor told Siddharth Kannan laughing at the situation. He then spoke about how Aditya Dhar’s direction proved effective in the scene transitioning smoothly when it could have gone horribly wrong.
He also recalled a scene where he happened to laugh when his leader asked for a suggestion. Aditya Dhar asked Naveen to turn the scene into a serious one in the particular moment, for the whole mood of the moment is serious.
Further speaking about the name Donga, Naveen revealed the name was finalized over how the character is like the vessel Donga. He is placed in the midst of other muscular characters, but is real. While he is jolly and loves food, Donga can also be unpredictable when it comes to bloodthirst. With it, Naveen Kaushik left a promise that more will be revealed with Dhurandhar: Part 2 scheduled for release on March 19, 2026.
