Koffee with Karan 8: "I think she looks a lot like Ranbir," Kareena Kapoor Khan on Alia Bhatt’s daughter Raha

Today’s Koffee with Karan episode marked the glorious presence of two acclaimed Bollywood actresses on the famous couch. The eighth season unveiled its fourth episode after midnight in which Alia Bhatt and Kareena Kapoor appeared in their glam attires. The duo, who also became relatives after Alia Bhatt’s marriage to Kareena’s cousin Ranbir Kapoor, shared many aspects of parenthood in the casual conversation.

Alia Bhatt on daughter Raha

Alia Bhatt embraced parenthood a year ago with the birth of her daughter Raha with husband Ranbir Kapoor. In the heartfelt conversation about kids, she described how Raha’s presence is the epitome of happiness for her. Calling her sunshine, she reveals one of her morning routines with the toddler.

“But it feels so nice to just engage, interact, and see how she is responding and learning. I sit with her in the morning and I just talk to her about how I feel, and what I wish for her". On the mention of Ranbir Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor Khan quickly hopped on to say, “I think she looks a lot like Ranbir.” Moments later, the quirky Alia Bhatt confesses that Bebo has been saying this since the time she was born.

The Kapoor Lineage

The chatty host, Karan Johar air quoted and said, “You mean the Kapoor lineage” over the mention of Raha resembling her father. The Jaane Jaan actress then claimed that Raha looked like Ranbir when he was a baby.

“I think she is genuinely a very good balance of both of us. A lot of times she looks like Ranbir’s dad (late Rishi Kapoor),” Bhatt added.

“He’s madly in love with her”

The Rocky aur Rani ki prem Kahaani actress also spilled the beans about her family life after Raha’s birth. She revealed Ranbir’s “fatherhood” side as she detailed how much he adores his 1-year-old daughter. As a doting father he spends a lot of his time with Raha, whether it's playing with her or burping her, Ranbir indulges a fair amount of time with Raha
