Koffee With Karan 8 - 'I was scared and fully shaking,' Khushi Kapoor recounts her audition for The Archies

Boney Kapoor and late Sridevi's daughters, Khushi Kapoor and Janhvi Kapoor, recently appeared on Koffee With Karan 8. The Kapoor sisters spilled a lot of beans on Karan Johar's infamous chat show. Apart from talking about their professional lives, Janhvi and Khushi addressed speculations about their personal lives. When Karan Johar asked Khushi about her audition process for The Archies, the star kid revealed how scared she was.

While Janhvi Kapoor made her Bollywood debut with Dhadak, Khushi Kapoor made her acting debut with Zoya Akhtar's The Archies. The movie premiered on Netflix last year in December. The actress played the role of Betty Cooper in the film. Recalling her audition for The Archies, Khushi admitted that she was scared during the process. 

"So, when I went and auditioned, I was fully shaking and Zoya calmed me down. It was the first audition I'd ever given, so I was scared, but she calmed me down. I was still freaking out, but I think it went well," said Khushi, on Koffee With Karan 8.

Later, when she was confirmed for the role of Betty, Khushi stated that she started 'howling'. The actress also got emotional after everything was finalised.

Khushi Kapoor on dating rumours with Vedang Raina

After The Archies was released, Khushi Kapoor was reported to be in a relationship with her co-star Vedang Raina. On KWK 8, when Karan asked the actress about the same, Khushi left the filmmaker and Janhvi in splits with her response . She said, "You know that scene in Om Shanti Om where there’s a row of people just saying, ‘Om and I were just good friends’?" This is how Khushi easily managed to neither deny nor accept her relationship rumours.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Khushi is likely to star in a project with Sara Ali Khan's brother, Ibrahim Ali Khan. However, there's no confirmation on the same yet.
