The latest episode of Koffee with Kapoor was a thrilling ride of relationships, sibling revelry, and personal anecdotes. The 11th episode featured the Kapoor daughters Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor gracing the famous chat show’s couch. Previously, royal Patuadi mother-son duo Sharmila Tagore and Saif Ali Khan appeared and won hearts in the tenth episode.

Janhvi Kapoor is shy about Shikhar Pahariya

The chat show's host, Karan Johar, was on fire today as he tricked Janhvi Kapoor into saying "favourites" when he asked about the three contacts on her speed dial list. Although the actress didn’t mean to reveal the big news, a little bit of tongue slip and it’s game over!

There were several moments when the Mili actress just shied away and also expressed how Shikhar Pahariya stood up for the entire family in a difficult time as a pillar of support. "Have you heard that song, Nadaan Parindey Ghar Aaja? Shikhar used to sing that to me a lot. She hinted when asked about her current dating status.

Khushi Kapoor’s Barbie moment

Khushi Kapoor had her Barbie moment even when the term wasn't a thing. When Karan Johar asked about the pink taxi moment featuring the little spoilt brat sister, Janhvi narrated the entire incident with a constant grin on her face. Janhvi Kapoor was thrilled to reveal that their father had to run miles to look for a pink taxi in London as Princess Khushi demanded to sit only in the pink one. She mimicked cutely, “Pink chahiye Pink chahiye (I want the pink one).” She further said that their producer father had to walk for 2 hours, despite the knee injury to search for that specific taxi and highlighted how he spoiled Khushi.

Boney Kapoor and social media

When asked about how the sisters deal with the generational gap between the father, Boney Kapoor and them, they said that it’s not an issue as he is quite Gen Z with a social media profile and a knack for airport selfies. The sister-duo also disclosed how their father had a ‘diva moment’ whenever he was on set shooting for his debut film, Tu Jhoothi Mein Makkaar, as he would be carrying his glamour and looks to the set. They also narrated the incident when Boney Kapoor was pissed after watching the trailer without his screen time. He had said, “That's the selling point of the movie, mujhe hi nikal Diya.”

Sridevi’s death

We can’t talk about the best moments without mentioning the saddest and emotionally stirring moment when Sridevi passed away in 2018. The actresses remembered the troubled past with tears in their eyes. It was also highlighted that although Janhvi is the elder, Khushi Kapoor holds the family together and stands beside the difficult phase. "When I got the call, I was in my room and I could hear wailing from Khushi's room. I think I barged into her room, hauling and crying but what I do remember is that she looked at me and the minute she looked at me, she just stopped crying. She just sat next to me and started comforting me and I've never seen her cry about it since Janhvi reminisced the moment she got the shocking news.

Kapoor genes and family love

The sisters also revealed that the entire Kapoor family, including their half-siblings, Arjun Kapoor and Anshula Kapoor, were beside them during the emotional turmoil when Sridevi passed away suddenly. Khushi Kapoor’s boyfriend reveals

Apart from Janhvi Kapoor’s dating life, the episode also had moments for the budding actress Khushi Kapoor when Karan Johar repeatedly asked if she was dating her The Archies costar Vedang Raina. Before Khushi could say anything, the protective sister Jahvi jumped upon the situation and flew away from Khushi like a heroic cape moment. She said, “False, just say false.” Khushi then nodded for the requested response and added, “You know that scene in Om Shanti Om where there is a row of people saying, 'Om and I are just good friends.” Thus ending the debate with an open discussion.
