Koffee With Karan 8 promo - Kajol and Rani Mukerji reunite after 16 years, set to 'expose' Karan Johar in a laughter-filled episode

It's going to be a trip down memory lane in the upcoming episode of Koffee With Karan Season 8. Kajol and Rani Mukerji will make their much-awaited appearances on the Karan Johar-hosted talk show this week. The leading ladies of his debut film, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, have come together on the show after a gap of 16 years.

Revelations and laughter

The filmmaker's promo reveals both actors preparing to "expose" him. Rani also revealed that Karan has snatched food from her and also hit her, to which Kajol called it an "abuse." Moreover, The Trial actor forgot that Rani was a part of Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, and it got her thinking.

In the episode, Karan also plays a quiz on trivia from their films, which brings back that doorbell sound after a very long time. Moreover, the promo shows Karan sharing an anecdote of a conversation between his father, Yash Johar, and Sanjay Dutt ahead of his debut film, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai.

Triumphant return of the Kuch Kuch Hota Hai trio

Only the veterans of Koffee With Karan can bring out the best of what the show expects. The duo, who are firecrackers of performers, have been among Karan's closest friends for more than two decades now.

The filmmaker has directed Kajol in three movies, namely Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, and My Name is Khan. Rani has featured in his movies, such as Kuch Kuch Hota Hai and Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna. 

Shah Rukh Khan joined both actors for their first appearance on Koffee With Karan in 2007, making it one of the most acclaimed episodes of the talk show. Now that it's been 25 years of Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, fans can expect that SRK might pay a surprise visit to the episode, and that's going to be the perfect reunion.

The episode will be out on November 30, 2023, at midnight on Disney+ Hotstar.
