The fifth episode of Koffee with Karan 8 is nothing less than a hilarious yet adorable reunion of Karan Johar’s ex-students, Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra. Both the esteemed actors debuted together with Johar’s film, Student of the Year.

The celebrity chat show was graced by the suave presence of Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra in the newest episode of the eighth season. The whole episode is a treat to the eyes because of the incredible small moments throughout the show that will keep you grinning with a smile.

Varun Dhawan pulls Karan Johar’s leg, but no one is angry!

Today’s episode reflected Varun Dhawan’s witty sense of humor. The Kalank actor did not shy away from expressing his views about the “controversies” that often surround Karan Johar’s chat show. There were several instances in which he addressed how the filmmaker host should be careful while chatting with the two“married” men. He even referenced him as “Ghar todo.” Rhyming one of the character’s names from his father’s movie, he said, “There is a character called Shaadiram Gharjode (Matchmaker), he’s Karan Jokar Ghartode (Match-breaker).”

Varun Dhawan was quite vocal about skipping any controversies and tried to warn the host not to mess with their marriage humorously.

Why is Varun Dhawan calling Karan Johar the villain?

In another candid conversation, when Karan Johar jokingly asked Varun, “So, are you still single?” Varun Dhawan's eyes widened with shock as he minutes later dubs him as one of Ekta Kapoor’s iconic villain characters called Komolika. He said, “No, I am not. I’m married, obviously. You are like that character on that Ekta’s serial.”

The hilarious name-calling not only left fans rolling with laughter but also Karan Johar protesting to being first called a matchbreaker and now Komolika.

The three men indeed had a fun banter on the show and you can stream the current episode along with previous episodes featuring Deepika Padukone-Ranveer Singh, Sunny Deol-Bobby Deol, Ananya Pandey-Sara Ali Khan and Alia Bhatt-Kareena Kapoor Khan on Disney+Hostar.
