Does Tere Ishq Mein’s success put pressure on Kriti Sanon for Cocktail 2?
In a new interview with Hindustan Times, Kriti Sanon discussed whether the success of her last film, Tere Ishq Mein, adds pressure on her and if her next film, Cocktail 2, needs to match or exceed it. To this, Sanon said, “No, I don’t take that pressure. Every film is so different, you cannot expect everything to kind of pull the same kind of audiences.”
She continued that Cocktail 2 has a very different audience from Tere Ishk Mein. Kriti said that all she could do was work hard and give her best to every film with honesty. She also explained that everything beyond that was out of her control, as many factors determine a film’s fate at the box office.
"So I don’t want to take that pressure. I don’t give that pressure to my filmmakers too. Rather, I just enjoy the process. I am excited," Kriti concluded.

Cocktail 2 stars Kriti, Shahid Kapoor, and Rashmika Mandanna in the lead roles. Kriti and Shahid already shared screen in Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya (2024) and now they are all set to reunite with Homi Adajania's Cocktail 2.
Speaking about the reunion, she told Zoom, "He says, 'Nice to meet you like a human being', you don't have to be bound by not being a human being."
