Kuberaa box office collection day 3: Dhanush's film is a blockbuster hit, nears the Rs 50 crore mark

Kuberaa is Dhanush's new film that has taken a great start at the box office and is having a dream run. After making just above Rs 30 crore in two days, the Sekhar Kammula film had a solid Sunday and made Rs 19 crore, which is the highest since the day of its release.

With this, the total collections of the film are nearing Rs 50 crore net in all languages of its release. A chunk of the collections has come from the Telugu version in which the film is set.

After a long time, Telugu cinema is seeing such a big hit where the reviews and word of mouth have been superb. All those who have seen the film are in awe of Dhanush's performance, and the likes of Chiranjeevi have even predicted a National Award for his performance.  

On the other hand, Kuberaa is doing supremely well in the US as well. It will soon touch the 2 million mark, and this shows what kind of a hit the film is.

Sekhar Kammula, who is known to make romantic dramas, has tried a different social drama for the first time in his career and has delivered a smash hit. Kuberaa is doing extremely well in the A centers of Telugu states and Tamil Nadu. 

The other lead in the film, Nagarjuna, is thrilled with the success as it has been quite some time since he delivered a hit at the box office. Kuberaa has opened a lot of avenues for him, and he is on top of the world.

The best part of the box office collections for Kuberaa is that there is no other release, and Kuberaa will have a free run at the box office. Vishnu Manchu's Kannappa will hit the screens on June 27, 2025, but will not pose any threat to Kuberaa even if it gets a hit talk, as the genres are different.

Amazon Prime Video has bagged the digital rights to the film, which is about a beggar being used as a pawn by a rich businessman for his illegal activities. The makers will soon land in the profit zone, and one needs to see how the film fares on the weekdays.
