Lal Salaam OTT release date: After one year of theatrical release, Aishwarya Rajinikanth’s film to make streaming debut

Lal Salaam, the 2024 Tamil film starring Rajinikanth, Vishnu Vishal and Vikranth in the lead roles, is all set to make its OTT debut after one year of theatrical release. The film is a sports action drama which is directed by Aishwarya Rajinikanth. It will premiere on SunNXT for the occasion of Bakrid. The film will also be available on OTTplay Premium.

Lal Salaam OTT release date: When and where to stream the sports drama

Lal Salaam is a Tamil intense drama that weaves together themes of sports, friendship, and communal harmony. The film is directed by Rajinikanth’s ender daughter Aishwarya and features the Enthiran star in a special appearance. Actors Vishnu Vishal and Vikranth play the lead roles. The film released in theatres in February 2024 and since then had not been available on OTT platform for streaming.

Now, after one year, SunNXT will premiere Lal Salaam on June 6 for the occasion of Bakrid. The story follows two friends divided by circumstances and ideology, set against the backdrop of a tense socio-political landscape. You can watch the film with your OTTplay Premium subscription as well.

While Rajinikanth plays an extended cameo role, Lal Salaam is led by Vishnu Vishal and Vikranth, with an ensemble cast including Vignesh, Livingston, Senthil, Jeevitha, KS Ravikumar and Thambi Ramaiah among others. AR Rahman has scored the music for the film backed by Lyca Productions.
