Lal Salaam, the highly anticipated sports-action drama that marks Aishwarya Rajinikanth’s comeback to filmmaking, is gearing up for a grand release in January 2024. Rajinikanth, the veteran superstar is playing a pivotal role in Lal Salaam, which features Vishnu Vishal and Vikrant in the lead roles. Meanwhile, the first single of the project has got a release date.
Lal Salaam first single to release on December 18
The makers of Lal Salaam recently took to their official social media handles and dropped a special poster of the movie, announcing the release date of the film’s first single. The much-awaited first single of the Rajinikanth-starrer, which is composed by celebrated musician AR Rahman, will be released tomorrow (December 18, Monday). However, the makers of the sports-action film are yet to reveal the other details of the song, which is titled ‘Ther Thiruvizha’.
Lal Salaam audio launch to be held on December 21
As reported earlier, the grand audio launch event of Lal Salaam is slated to be held on December 21, Thursday. The prestigious event will be reportedly held at the Nehru Indoor Stadium in Chennai from 7 pm on Thursday. Along with superstar Rajinikanth, Vishnu Vishal, Vikranth, and other Lal Salaam team members, a few special guests are also expected to attend the event. AR Rahman, the music composer, is planning to perform live at the event.

Rajinikanth is set to make an extended cameo appearance in Lal Salaam, in the role of Moideen Bhai. Vishnu Vishal and Vikranth are playing the lead roles in the film, which features Vignesh, Livingston, Senthil, Jeevitha, KS Ravikumar, Thambi Ramaiah, Nirosha, Vivek Prasanna, Dhanya Balakrishna, and others in supporting roles. Kapil Dev, the celebrated cricketer, is making a special cameo appearance. The promotional videos and official posters of the movie have won the internet and raised expectations about the project.
The project is penned by Aishwarya Rajinikanth herself, along with Vishnu Rangasamy, who has also handled the cinematography. AR Rahman has composed the songs and original score for Lal Salaam. B Pravin Baaskar handles the editing. The sports-action drama is produced by Subaskaran Allirajah under the banner Lyca Productions.
