Rajinikanth to resume shooting for Vettaiyan after Lal Salaam audio launch; major updates are out

Rajinikanth is currently going through an excellent phase in his career, after the massive success of Jailer. The veteran superstar is currently on a signing spree, and has some exciting projects in his kitty, including Aishwarya Rajinikanth’s Lal Salaam, TJ Gnanavel’s Vettaiyan, and Thalaivar 171, which is helmed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. Now, the sources close to the legendary actor have revealed some major updates on his schedule for the weekend.

Lal Salaam audio launch to be held on THIS date

As per the latest updates, the makers of the Aishwarya Rajinikanth directorial are planning a grand audio launch event for the project. The Lal Salaam audio launch event will be held on December 21, 2023, at the famous Nehru Indoor Stadium in Chennai, from 7 PM. AR Rahman, the celebrated musician who has composed the songs and original score for the project, is expected to perform live at the event.

Along with Rajinikanth, leading men Vishnu Vishal and Vikrant, and the rest of the cast and crew members of Lal Salaam will also attend the event, along with a few special guests. The makers of the project are expected to officially announce the audio launch date and further details, very soon. The team also planning to reveal the much-awaited first single of the movie, ahead of the audio launch event.

Rajinikanth to resume Vettaiyan shoot on December 24

The recent updates also suggest that the superstar is planning to resume the shooting of his next outing Vettaiyan, after the Lal Salaam audio launch. Rajinikanth, who is currently enjoying a schedule break, is planning to rejoin the sets of TJ Gnanavel’s movie on December 24, Sunday. However, more details on the next schedule shooting of the highly anticipated project, are still kept under wraps.

If the reports are to be believed, Rajinikanth is set to play the role of an honest police officer in Vettaiyan, which is touted to be an action-packed social thriller. Along with the superstar, the much-awaited project features a stellar star cast including legendary Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan, Manju Warrier, Fahadh Faasil, Rana Daggubati, Ritika Singh, and Dushara Vijayan, in the key roles.
