Latest Kannada OTT releases (September 8- September 14) - Here is the list of what you can stream on various digital platforms or watch in theatres this week.

It’s been rumoured to be OTT bound for a while, but there’d been no official confirmation though. This time around, it’s pakka news. Su From So , the blockbuster Kannada comedy is definitely going to be available to stream this week. But there’s more to look forward to in the coming days. As far as Kannada originals go, there’s Vinnod Prabhakar’s Maadeva, which was hailed for his career-best performance to date. And the dubbed title coming audience’s way also has a strong Kannada connect – Upendra and Rachita Ram are in it. Superstar Rajinikanth’s Coolie will be available with a Kannada dubbed version.

Written and directed by JP Thuminad and produced by actor-filmmaker Raj B Shetty, Su From So, the highest grossing Kannada film of 2025 so far is still drawing crowds in theatres, but it is also ready for a larger audience on streaming. The film, which follows the events that occur when the protagonist claims to be possessed, is a laughter riot, but has a deeper message too. It will stream in Kannada, Malayalam and Telugu.

Vinnod Prabhakar was ecstatic when he was finally considered for a role that would allow him to flex more than just his muscles. For the longest, the actor had been relegated to doing routine commercial fights with a set number of fights and songs, but Maadeva offered him more – a chance to prove his acting chops. And the reviews that came were unanimous that it was Vinnod’s career best so far. He was paired with Roberrt co-star Sonal Monteiro in the film.

Lokesh Kanagaraj's much-hyped Superstar Rajinikanth collaboration did not quite live up to the expectation. The film turned out to be routine revenge drama, with Rajinikanth avenging the death of his closest friend. The film also starred Nagarjuna, Soubin Shahir, Shruti Haasan, Rachita Ram, Upendra, Sathyaraj, among others.
Streaming on Amazon Prime Video from September 11

Praveer Shetty leads the film about the protagonist’s desperate attempts to get a good night’s sleep. Shine Shetty is the antagonist, while Rishika Nayak is the heroine. Sruthi Hariharan is the hero’s shrink, but can she find a solution to his problem, amid all the emotional turmoil in his head?

Pranam Devaraj and Rangayana Raghu headline this tale of a father-son bond, as told by writer-director Srikanth Hunsur. Kushee Ravi is the female lead, while Suchendra Prasad, Sudha Belawadi and Tabla Nani are also on the cast.

Hanu-Man fame Teja Sajja headlines Mirai, which follows his character, destined to protect nine sacred scriptures and wield a divine weapon against the evil Black Sword, played by Manchu Manoj. Directed by Karthik Gattamneni, the film also stars Shriya Saran, Ritika Nayak, Jagapati Babu and Jayaram, among others.
