Latest Malayalam OTT releases of the week (March 3 to March 9) to watch on Manorama Max, Sony LIV, JioHotstar and more

The first week of March is packed with great choices for those looking for latest Malayalam releases - both on OTT as well as theatres. This year's first superhit, Rekhachithram that has Asif Ali and Anaswara Rajan in the lead, is finally dropping on OTT along with an Indrajith Sukumaran film. In theatres too, there are two family dramas as well as a horror-drama, which has Kannada actor Kishore and Shruthy Menon in the lead.

A suicide confession of an alcoholic sets a police officer to reopen a 40-year-old cold case of a missing woman, who was last seen at the shooting location of Mammootty's Kathodu Kaathoram in 1984. The mystery thriller stars Asif Ali and Anaswara Rajan in the lead, with several cameos.

After cab driver Joekuttan decides to go to the police station to state that he was witness to the murder of a senior cop, things turn topsy-turvy, especially when his sister's life becomes under threat. The movie has Indrajith Sukumaran, Baiju Santosh and Mareena Michael in pivotal roles, with a cameo by Anoop Menon .

After a series of deaths in a reality show, a paranormal investigator from Finland travels to Kerala to find out the truth. But what awaits the person is a malevolent entity, who is only mentioned in folklore. Kannada actor Kishore, Shruthy Menon and Merin Philip of Sookshamadarshini fame star in this horror-drama.

As 99-year-old patriarch lies bedridden, his four sons are waiting for him to take his final breath so they can get their hands on his diamond ring. This soon tests the dynamics between the brothers and flare up into an all-out fight between them as their father looks on helplessly in his final days. Jagadeesh, Indrans, Prashanth Alexander and Mottai Rajendran star in the movie, directed by Ulsav Rajeev.

Director Sarath Chandran RJ's movie revolves around an Idukki-based planter and his three sons, as the latter driven by their greed and ambition break the family in their quest for their father's fortune. The movie has Vijayaraghavan playing the titular role, while Dileesh Pothan, Kalabhavan Shajohn, Lena and Kani Kusruti co-star.
