The first-look teaser of Ouseppinte Osiyathu, helmed by debutant Sarath Chandran RJ, has been unveiled and it promises a gripping family drama. Ouseppinte Osiyathu first-look teaser
The teaser begins with a tense shot of Dileesh Pothan as he looks intensely into the mirror, as a foreboding musical score sets the tone for the first glimpse. This is followed by shots of Kani Kusruti, Kalabhavan Shajon, Lenaa, Hemanth Menon, Zarin Shihab, and finally Vijayaraghavan as a loud cry echoes. The teaser then cuts to shots of a car making its way through the hills, a cross, and family members in prayer, among others.
One notable feature of the teaser is that all of the characters shown in the 54-second teaser appeared to be tense, hinting that an intense drama is set to hit our silver screens. The background music, especially, adds to the ominous mood of the teaser.
While unveiling the teaser on Instagram, the makers also promised that the trailer would be released on February 25, 2025.
Ouseppinte Osiyathu release date and plot
Ouseppinte Osiyathu is set to release in theatres on March 7. Vijayaraghavan, who was last seen in Rifle Club, stars in the titular role of a wealthy old ma n. The title of Ouseppinte Osiyathu literally translates to Ousep’s will. As per reports, the film is set to chronicle the relationship between the elderly man and his three sons, who are played by Dileesh Pothan, Kalabhavan Shajohn, and Hemanth Menon.
Kani Kusruti of All We Imagine as Light fame, Lenaa, and Zarin Shihab of Aattam fame are also part of the cast
Ouseppinte Osiyathu is produced by Maygoor Films and distributed by Central Pictures. The film has been mostly shot in the hill regions of Idukki.
