The final season of The Crown, which is primarily set in the late 1990s and early 2000s, will be returning this month. The forthcoming episodes will explore the most depressing chapter thus far, centred around the untimely demise of Princess Diana. The show stars Imelda Staunton, Jonathan Pryce, Olivia Williams, Lesley Manville, Dominic West, Elizabeth Debicki, Marcia Warren, Claudia Harrison, and Bertie Carvel.

Why you should watch it: Besides an impressive cast, the show has always been a fan favourite since Season 1. The final season is much-awaited and should be on your watch list.

Monarch: Legacy of Monsters on Apple TV+:

In the wake of the cataclysmic battle between Godzilla and the MUTOs, which destroyed San Francisco and revealed the existence of colossal animals, this series chronicles the journey of two siblings. Motivated by their father's mysterious past, they set out to discover how they are related to the mysterious Monarch organization. Their search for answers takes them into a monster world and deep into a mystery surrounding army officer Lee Shaw, played by Kurt Russell and Wyatt Russell, in two different time periods: the 1950s and the 50 years that follow when Monarch is threatened by Shaw's knowledge. In the MonsterVerse franchise, this is the sixth book and the second TV show.

Why you should watch it: Monarch: Legacy of Monsters is a virtually stunning show that takes a fresh approach to the monster genre.

The Railway Men on Netflix:

Inspired by the devastating Bhopal gas accident, writer Aayush Gupta and debut director Shiv Rawail have created a compelling thriller titled The Railway Men. The series explores the little-known stories of the unsung heroes of the Indian Railways, set against the terrifying events of December 2, 1984, when methyl isocyanate gas spilled from a pesticide factory controlled by the American Union Carbide Corporation. During the horrific tragedy that took over 5,000 lives and affected over half a million, these folks bravely tried to save lives despite disarray and chaos. The show stars R Madhavan, Kay Kay Menon, Babil Khan, and Divyendu.

Why you should watch it: If you want to know what happened during the tragic incident in Bhopal, then this one should be on your watch list. The Railway Men also boasts an impressive cast.
