The Tamil cinema will be ending the 2024 note in a silent way, with no big releases geared up for December. However, we still have Vetrimaaran’s film Viduthalai Part 2 all set to release this week in theatres. Here are some of the Tamil titles that you can watch on OTT and theatres in the coming days. Zebra – Aha (December 20)

Starring Satyadev and Dhananjaya in the lead roles, Zebra is Telugu-Tamil action thriller drama that revolves around a man who makes a white-collar crime in his banking system, in order to cover up his girlfriend’s mistake. Directed by Eashvar Karthic, the film also stars Sathyaraj, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Amrutha Iyengar and others.

Viduthalai: Part 2 – Theatres (December 20)

Viduthalai- Part 2 is the upcoming sequel of Vetrimaaran’s duology starring Soori. The second part will also feature actors Vijay Sethupthi, Manju Warrier, Kishore, Samuthirakani and others joining the cast. The film is a period action drama that revolves around a newly recruited cop put in charge to arrest a people’s movement leader. Ilaiyaraaja is scoring the music for the film. The first part is available for streaming on ZEE5 and OTTplay Premium app.

Uppu Puli Kaaram – Disney+ Hotstar (ongoing)

Uppu Puli Kaaram is an ongoing series, which revolves around an elderly couple who run an eatery and live with their four grown-up children. However, their lives take a turn when the father’s son from another mother comes to live with the family, leading to drama and confusion. With the couple having their own secret about their new son, and the latter being a famous actor, the series is a family drama focusing on the life of each family member, the children’s love lives, and how their careers and ambitions cross paths.
