Laththi antecedent teaser: Vishal looks fierce as the aggressive cop who sets out to nab a criminal

In a first-of-its-kind promotion in Kollywood, team Laththi released "antecedent teaser", offering a sneak peek of Vishal's look and physique in the movie. The one-and-a-half minute video has the actor, who plays a constable in it, coming out of an attacked police van in style.

He's seen handling a violent mob single-handedly using his laththi and nabs a criminal despite a group of gangsters trying to hurt him. Yuvan Shankar Raja's effective background score elevates the mood of the action scene which is expected to be an edge-of-the-seat sequence. It looks like the actor's intro scene from the movie.

Vishal was in the news recently when he met with an accident a couple of times while shooting for action sequences in Laththi. Peter Hein is the stunt choreographer for the action thriller which has Sunaina playing the female lead.

The movie directed by debutant A Vinoth Kumar revolves around how Vishal's character saves his son after the latter is attacked by a few dreaded goons. The release of the project was supposed to be on August 12, but the team announced recently that the plans are postponed owing to the actor's injury.

The "antecedent teaser" also revealed that Laththi's teaser will be released on July 24. Ramana and Nandaa have bankrolled the film under Rana Productions. Balasubramanian and NB Srikanth have handled cinematography and editing respectively for Laththi which has Kannan at the helm of art direction.

Laththi, which is expected to hit the screens in September, is the actor's second outing this year, followed by Veeramae Vaagai Soodum (streaming on Zee5) which was released in February. Fans of Vishal hope that the movie's release date will be announced along with the teaser.
