Lawrence and Priya Bhavani Shankar shake a leg to the remix version of popular song Paadatha Paattellam

It was an year ago that choreographer-actor-filmmaker Lawrence unveiled the title of his next project. Titled Rudhran, producer Kathiresan of Five Star Creations is helming the film, which will hit the screens on Aril 14, 2022. Priya Bhavani Shankar has been roped in to play the female lead and GV Prakash is composing music for the movie. 

RD Rajasekar and Anthony were brought on board to crank the camera and edit the film respectively. KP Thirumaaran has written story for Rudhran while Stunt Silva has choreographed the movie's action sequences.       

The film was in the news recently when the news leaked that the remix version of iconic song Paadatha Paattellam Pada Vanthal from Veera Thirumagan which released in 1962 will be included in it. Sridhar has been roped in to compose some fast-paced moves for the remix version and Lawrence will be seen shaking a leg to it along with Priya Bhavani Shankar. 

Sridhar has choreographed dance moves for films which had Lawrence in the lead and for those which had the latter wielding the megaphone in the past. A still of Sridhar and Lawrence posing for a photo from the shooting spot were doing the rounds on social media a few days ago.         

The makers have now released another picture which has Lawrence and Priya along with director Kathiresan and cinematographer Rajasekar. According to the makers, they have spent an amount of one crore to create a set at which the remix song was shot. Poornima Bhagyaraj is another artist who will be seen in a pivotal role in the film, the shooting of which is going on ill full swing. 

Earlier, the popular song Aadaludan Paadalai Kettu from MGR-starrer Kudiyirundha Koyil had a remix version in Lawrence's Motta Shiva Ketta Shiva which released a few years ago. The actor shook legs with Nikki Galrani in the song.
