Fans of Rajinikanth are excited with the makers of Jailer revealing an update of the much-awaited movie. The project which has Nelson Dilipkumar at its helm goes on floors today in Chennai. A still of the Superstar was also unveiled by Sun Pictures, the production house, which is teaming up with him for the fourth time.
However, the team is tight-lipped about the project's cast and crew. Kannada star Shiva Rajkumar and Ramya Krishnan have confirmed their presence in the film, though. The makers themselves had announced Anirudh's inclusion in the movie during the project's announcement earlier this year.
But the details of other cast and crew associated with Jailer is still unknown. It is expected that an update will come on the same sooner. Now, leading action director Stun Siva has joined the team. He has taken to his Twitter page to inform his collaboration in the project.
He also posted a photo in which he is seen along with Nelson and his sons Kevin Kumar and Steven Kumar who are also part of his team. Siva tweeted, "Our Next Project As #actiondirector with @rajinikanth sir #Jailer Thanks to @sunpictures and @nelsondilipkumar (sic)."
Fans of Rajinikanth were excited with this unexpected update and they came up with various suggestions under the comment section. Dhilip Subbarayan, Stunt Silva, Anbariv, Peter Hein and Ram-Laxman were the action directors who worked for recent films of Rajinikanth like Annaatthe, 2.0, Kabali, Petta and Darbar respectively.
Jailer is also billed as an action entertainer, and fans are wondering what the film's storyline would be. Many speculations with regard to its plot, actors and technicians have been doing the rounds for a few months. The film is slated for a release in theatres in 2023.
