Sivakarthikeyan is currently shooting for Madonne Ashwin's sophomore film Maaveeran. The filming of the action-packed movie, which has been happening at Puducherry, is said to be hitting the screens in June. An official update on the same is expected as soon as makers wrap up the shooting.

Ravi Kumar's Ayalaan and Rajkumar Periyasamy's SK 21 (tentatively titled) are upcoming projects of the actor. While the former is getting delayed owing to post-production works, the latter, which was announced last year, is yet to go on floors. Kamal Haasan's Raaj Kamal Films International will be bankrolling the ambitious movie.

Sai Pallavi was roped in to play the female lead in the untitled film which has Sony Pictures Films India, too, associating with Raaj Kamal in production. The team is yet to reveal other details pertaining to cast and crew.

We now hear that the team is set to head to Kashmir to film a crucial schedule there. This is the second Tamil movie in recent times to choose the northern Indian state for filming. It was only a couple of days ago that the team of Vijay, Lokesh Kanagaraj's Leo left the state and returned to Chennai after a two-month schedule.

SK 21 was announced by Raaj Kamal even before the production house earned huge profits from the blockbuster project Vikram which created several records. They announced a film with Udhayanidhi later, but the actor-producer took up full time politics and became the TN State Minister for Sports and Youth Welfare.

A few weeks ago, they announced another project, STR 48 (tentative title), which brings together Silambarasan and Desingh Periyasamy. It is heard that they are likely to collaborate with Vignesh Shivan, too, for a movie.
