Leo: Lokesh Kanagaraj's latest pic from Kashmir hints at the Vijay-starrer's connection with Vikram and Kaithi

It is known that the team of Lokesh Kanagaraj's much-awaited Vijay-starrer Leo has been shooting in Kashmir since the last few weeks. Gautham Menon, Trisha, Priya Anand and Mathew Thomas among others are part of the current schedule which is expected to be completed in March.

The team had officially revealed a picture from the location and a few photos were shared by Trisha, too, leaving cinephiles elated. The promo video unveiled by the team a few weeks ago elevated the hype associated with the project and fans are now awaiting the next update.

Meanwhile, they are also curious to know if the movie is part of the universe Lokesh had created with Vikram. Movie buffs are on the look out for hints which help them connect Leo with the filmmaker's previous outings Vikram and Kaithi. It looks like the latest picture of the director has a big clue on whether the movie is related to Kamal Haasan-starrer and Karthi-starrer.

Nandini Nagaraj, the actress, who played one of the wives of Vijay Sethupathi's character in Vikram, has posted a picture of hers with Lokesh on her Instagram page. This picture from Kashmir has fueled the theory that Leo will surely be related to Lokesh's universe.

Netizens have started decoding her part in Leo, and many are assuming that Vijay Sethupathi will also be seen in a small role in the film. In all probability, Leo will have portions that happen before Kamal Haasan's Vikram and Sethupathi's Santhanam meet each other.

Film lovers can't wait to know what more surprises Lokesh has in store for them. Leo will be released in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and Kannada on October 19.
