We had told you that leading producer-distributor Gokulam Gopalan has acquired the theatrical rights of Leo in Kerala. Going by a few sources, he has offered 15 crores to bag the rights of the most-awaited project. It is known that the action drama will be released on October 19 in four languages.

As Vijay's birthday falls this month, makers are expected to come up with several surprises in the coming days. A promo video and a few stills are likely to be out soon though the movie's release is more than four months away.

The team has now officially revealed details about its overseas theatrical rights. Ahmad Golchin, veteran exhibitor and distributor of Middle East, has acquired the movie's rights through his company Phars Film. Seven Screen Studio, which is producing Leo, has informed the same to movie buffs.

They took to their social media page to reveal the news along with a short video which features Ahmad expressing excitement on associating with the project. Fans are thrilled with the news and hope that this announcement is just a beginning as they are awaiting more updates soon.

Netflix has bagged the film's digital rights a while ago for a huge amount. The movie is expected to take a gargantuan opening in Tamil Nadu, Kerala and overseas markets. Dil Raju is likely to acquire theatrical rights of the project in Telugu states. He was the producer of Vijay's last outing Varisu.

Trisha, Arjun, Sanjay Dutt, Mysskin, Priya Anand and Gautham Menon among others are seen essaying important characters in the gangster flick which is currently the most-anticipated Tamil film of the year.
