The team of Leo has been coming up with regular surprises, leaving fans of Vijay and Lokesh Kanagaraj excited. The pics from the birthday celebration of the latter, the video of Sanjay Dutt joining the schedule and timely clicks of Trisha from the location were the recent surprises.

The project was initially titled Thalapathy 67. The makers announced the official title with a short teaser more than a month ago soon after they flew down to Kashmir. The video evoked the right response from fans and the icing on the cake was the release date announcement, which no one actually anticipated.

Movie buffs have started decoding the secrets Lokesh has hidden in the video and speculations have been doing the rounds with regard to the movie being part of "LCU". Interestingly, the video has now clocked 50M views on YouTube, which is huge by any yardstick.

With more than six months away for the film's release, it is likely to be the most viewed promo video in the history of Kollywood. The gangster flick will be released on October 19 in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Hindi.

Meanwhile, Sanjay Dutt has wrapped up his schedule in Kashmir. He will join the team later for the Chennai schedule which is expected to commence after April. The long Kashmir schedule is likely to be complete by the end of this month. Gautham Menon, Mathew Thomas, Trisha and Priya Anand were part of this crucial schedule.

Fans are pinning high hopes on the team to reveal some surprises on June 22, on which Vijay's birthday falls. The first single or another promo video is expected to be unveiled on the special day.
