The much-awaited project that brings Vijay and Lokesh Kanagaraj together for the second time has been titled Leo and the news was officially announced yesterday, leaving fans into a tizzy. The makers, who are currently shooting in Kashmir, also unveiled a promo video along with the title which went viral in no time.

Ever since the release of the two-minute promo which features Vijay getting ready with a weapon to face a few goons, cinephiles have been looking for hints which could connect the film with previous Lokesh movies Kaithi and Vikram.

The team of Leo is yet to announce whether it is a part of the universe the director created with Vikram. But a few enthusiastic film buffs have come up with some findings which are quite intriguing. The promo has Vijay's character, who works in a chocolate shop, using Erythroxylum, a coca plant used for medicinal purposes.

A crucial scene of Vikram has Kamal finding the same from a group of youngsters who are into drugs. The scorpion symbol used in Kaithi and Vikram are spotted in Leo's video as well. As if this isn't enough, a few netizens are pointing out the undeniable connection between Scorpio and Leo which could be a major hint about the Vijay-starrer being part of the universe.

There have been reports that the movie is based on the 2005 Hollywood film A History of Violence. It looks like makers are tight-lipped about further details of the film which will be released in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and Kannada on October 19.

Seven Screen Studio is bankrolling the project which has music by Anirudh, cinematography by Manoj Paramahamsa and editing by Philomin Raj.
