Vignesh Shivan’s upcoming romantic comedy LIC is one of the most-anticipated projects from the Naanum Rowdy Dhaan director. Currently under production, the film stars Pradeep Ranganathan and Krithi Shetty in the lead roles. Meanwhile, SJ Suryah, who plays a pivotal role, in the film recently took to his social media handles to share a sweet note about his LIC director Vignesh Shivan. The Jigarthanda DoubleX actor hailed the director for the ‘nuances' he had demanded for his role. The actor, who had his first day of shoot, also praised DOP Ravi Varman for his exceptional work.

The actor also shared a BTS shot of the actor along with director Vignesh Shivan from the film’s set.
The film features Pradeep, Suryah and Krithi in lead roles. Anirudh Ravichander will be scoring music for the film, while cinematographer Ravi Varman will be cranking the camera. The project is produced under the banner of Seven Screen Studio.
Earlier reports suggested that the film will also feature Vignesh’s wife, actress Nayanthara, in an extended cameo. It was widely speculated that the Annapoorani actress will be playing the Love Today fame actor’s elder sister in the upcoming romcom. Sources also claim that the makers of the film have also roped in filmmaker and politician Seeman, who has reportedly begun shooting for the film in Coimbatore. Seeman is said to be playing the role of the Pradeep's father. However, an official announcement from the team is yet to be made.
Meanwhile, Pradeep is speculated to be collaborating with Ashwath Marimuthu, who previously helmed Ashok Selvan-starrer Oh My Kadavule, for his next project. Pradeep is said to be playing the lead in the untitled project, which is likely to go on floors after he wraps up shooting for LIC.
