Hariharan, the veteran filmmaker teamed up with legendary writer MT Vasudevan Nair for the period social drama Parinayam. The movie, which features Mohini, Manoj K Jayan, and Vineeth in the lead roles, depicts the story of a young widowed Namboothiri woman in the backdrop of ‘Smartha Vicharam’ (the infamous trial organized to punish ‘morally corrupted’ Brahmin women).

Padayottam
