Actor and TV host Srujan Lokesh is gearing up for the release of his directorial, Ghosts in Trouble. Here's a look at some of his most memorable roles.
Srujan will direct, produce and act in the horror comedy

Srujan Lokesh, the son of late actor Lokesh and veteran actress Girija Lokesh, has been dabbling with cinema since 2002, when he was launched as a leading man with Neela Megha Shyama. In the years since he has done 7-8 films as hero, and more as a supporting actor. Srujan, who hosts the hit comedy talk show Maja Talkies, is also prepping for his directorial debut, a horror comedy called Ghosts in Trouble.
His dream project, though, is the recently announced Sati Sulochana, a recreation of sorts of his grandfather Subbaiah Naidu’s first Kannada film, directed by P Sheshadri. “We are not recreating the film, but rather the making of Sati Sulochana way back in 1932.

Srujan Lokesh was Gende in the action heist drama directed by Dinakar Thoogudeepa, with Darshan in the lead. Navagraha, which was about the heist of the Mysuru Ambari , was based on the Hollywood hit, Reservoir Dogs. The highlight was that the cast members were mostly sons of supporting actors and antagonists, like Tharun Kishore Sudhir, Dharma Keerthiraj, Vinnod Prabhakar, among others.

In the crime drama Edegarike, directed by Suman Kittur, and based on a story about Bengaluru’s underworld by Agni Sridhar. The film had Aditya in the lead as Sona, while Srujan Lokesh played a gangster called Bachchan.

In Darshan Thoogudeepa’s masala film directed and produced by Raghavendra Hegde, Srujan played Majnu, the right-hand man to the protagonist. The actor has been quoted as saying that his role runs parallel with the hero's. He had likened the bond between the characters to that of Munnabhai and Circuit.

Chintan AV, who co-wrote Navagraha with Dinakar Thoogudeepa, directed the 2017 film, which was the last film that Srujan has done with Darshan. Srujan is KIttappa in the film, who supports Shankar, Darshan’s character, throughout.
