After the success of action thriller film RDX: Robert Dony Xavier, actor Shane Nigam is set to play a romantic character in the upcoming Malayalam film Little Hearts. It’s directed by Aby Treesa Paul and Anto Jose Perera, who is known for Member Rameshan 9am Ward. Shooting for the film has begun in Idukki. Also starring Shine Tom Chacko, Little Hearts is a romantic comedy entertainer set in a rustic background. Previously, Shine and Shane have acted together in films like Ishq, Parava, Corona Papers and Veyil.

The movie revolves around farmers’ lives in Kerala’s high-altitude regions, while it also includes a romantic subplot between members of two families. Although the setting is rustic, the film is based on the perspectives of young people. Little Hearts is said to include seven songs, composed by Kailas Menon. Cinematographer Luke Jose and editor Noufal Abdullah comprise the technical crew. The film is bankrolled by Sandra Thomas, who previously backed the survival thriller, Nalla Nilavulla Rathri.

Shane Nigam’s upcoming projects

Shane has two upcoming film releases - Qurbani, a romantic drama, and Vela, a police thriller. In Qurbani, Shane plays the role of a young man who embraces a life in nature. Aarsha Chandini Baiju, known for her work in Ramachandra Boss & Co and Madhura Manohara Moham, stars opposite Shane as the female lead.

Meanwhile, Vela, directed by Syam Sasi, features Shane as a police officer. He was earlier seen as a cop in Priyadarshan’s Corona Papers. The story of Vela is centred on a new police officer, who faces various challenges while working in the police control room.
