It was an extraordinary display of bowling. Siraj's remarkable feat of claiming four wickets in a single over contributed to his overall figures of 6/21 in a splendid spell of 7 overs, leaving the Sri Lankan team in complete disarray.

Hardik Pandya finished things off taking three wickets.

Coming in to bat, Rohit sent Ishan Kishan to open with Shubman Gill. The two scored 20+ runs to help India lift their 8th title.

Sri Lanka have been bowled out for 50 - their lowest ODI total vs India!

Siraj takes his maiden 6-wicket haul, Hardik Pandya took three and Bumrah has one to his name. All wickets fell to the Indian pacers.

He delivered a rapid inswinger that induced a slight inside edge as Mendis attempted a drive, ultimately demolishing the stumps.

That's a five-wicket haul in just 15 balls – it must be some sort of record! 

Siraj executed it perfectly, consistently delivering full and wide deliveries, but then he surprised everyone by pitching one full at the middle stump and generating late movement.

The stumps rattled and the Sri Lankan skipper had to walk back for a DUCK.

DDS attempted a drive at a wide outswinger that he could have simply let go. 

The ball found a faint edge, and Rahul completed the rest with a tidy catch.

It's the third wicket in this over, and Siraj is on fire!

He delivered a full ball on the off-stump, which might have held up a bit, causing Asalanka to play his shot a touch early.

Samarawickrama, who has been in great form, is dismissed without scoring a run!

Siraj delivered a fantastic inswinger, pitching it slightly fuller and getting it to sharply nip in.

The ball skidded through quickly, catching Samarawickrama off guard as he was late in attempting his shot and misjudged the line. 

The ball struck him in front of the middle stump, and the ball tracking system confirmed that it would have gone on to hit the top of the leg stump.

It was a well-pitched length ball that moved inward, compelling Nissanka to make a stroke. 

He managed to punch it, but with a slight opening of the bat face, directing it behind square. 

Jadeja, positioned at backward point, displayed his extraordinary fielding skills by diving to his right.

Bumrah only needed three deliveries to leave his mark.

The ball landed around the middle and then swung away.

The ball veered wider and caught the edge, with KL Rahul making a smart, low catch to his left.

The covers are also slowly being moved away. 

Pitch inspection scheduled for 3:30 PM, play likely to start by 3:45 PM.

The covers have been placed on the pitch as there is currently a light drizzle. 

The ground staff have taken proactive measures, but it's possible that the start of the event may be slightly delayed.
