Lock Upp trailer: Kangana Ranaut is all set to take 'panga' from contestants on the reality show

The trailer of the much-awaited reality show, which marks the OTT debut of the actor Kangana Ranaut, is out. The show Lock Upp is touted to be one of the most controversial and entertaining reality shows and the trailer proves that.

The trailer opens with Kangana Ranaut with a shot of the actor wearing a shiny gold outfit, introducing the concept of the show. Calling it India's most controversial show, she says the contestants, some of who are addicted to their 'freedom', will be locked up and will have to survive their co-prisoner as they share the space. The celebrities will also have to spill some beans about themselves in front of everyone. However, it does not reveal the contestants on the show.

The trailer looks interesting and assures that the show will be packed with entertainment. The makers had a grant trailer launch event in Delhi where Kangana Ranaut and Ekta Kapoor were present. The two along with other crew members had also visited Bangla Sahib before the trailer launch to seek blessings.

The upcoming reality show is about 16 ‘controversial’ celebrities who will be locked up in cells with no fancy amenities. They will have to fight for their freedom by performing a series of tasks, assigned by the Panga actor. Audiences will also be given a chance to decide the fate of contestants with their votes to either keep or eliminate a certain participant. Although a list of contestants is yet to be officially announced, Shehnaaz Gill and Poonam Pandey are rumoured to be a part of the show.

Lock Upp will be available to stream from February 27, 2022, on Alt Balaji and MX Player. The show will be live-streamed on the two platforms 24/7.
