Lokesh Kanagaraj teases fans of Kamal Haasan by releasing promo of workout video made during Vikram's shooting

During a Twitter chat with movie buffs post the release of Vikram, Lokesh Kanagaraj had announced that he would release an exclusive video of Kamal Haasan doing push-ups on the film's 25th day. And the director has kept his word! He took to Twitter to post a promo of the full video of the legend's workout regime, leaving the latter's fans in a tizzy. 

Lokesh has revealed that the full video will be out tomorrow. Needless to say, Kamal fans who are already over the moon with the stupendous success of the action thriller, will be excited to the core after the video gets released.

Meanwhile, Vikram is inching closer to 400 crore mark at the box office, smashing records left, right and centre. The film has become the highest-grossing movie in Tamil Nadu in terms of gross by surpassing Baahubali 2 recently. Similarly, it outsmarted Master in the state in terms of distributor share, too.

The movie is now the numero uno Tamil project in Kerala, collecting more than 30 crores from the neighbouring state. Despite a few Tamil movies releasing in the last two weeks, Vikram is still the crowd favourite of movie buffs in Tamil Nadu. 

The trade is eagerly looking forward to the numbers the movie will make in its final run. The hype for Kamal's next, Indian 2, and Lokesh's next, Thalapathy 67, has escalated with the homongous success of Vikram. Kamal is expected to join Indian 2 team soon, and Lokesh is likely to begin Thalapathy 67 after the completion of Varisu.

Film buffs have already started speculating the story and box office numbers of Vikram 2 and Kaithi 2 which will be connected with each other, going by the universe Lokesh has created in Vikram through common characters and premise.
