Looop Lapeta clip: Taapsee Pannu and Tahir Raj Bhasin make some unwise decisions in the latest video

Looop Lapeta is generating quite a buzz as a quirky, chaotic comedy that promises to entertain and thrill. A small clip from the upcoming film was released recently, giving a taste of the hilarity and excitement in store.

The clip opens with Satya (Tahir Raj Bhasin) gingerly making his way across a dimly lit and sinister-looking warehouse to meet up with a rather gruff-looking man. Satya’s nervous full-toothed smile is returned with a stoic stare from the man who fixes his eyes on something in the former’s hands-a strange package. Satya exchanges the package for a bag from the strange man, and as he makes his exit, his phone rings with a call from his partner, Savi (Taapsee Pannu), and that is when viewers are let in on the duo’s hatched plans.

Satya borrowed money from someone, only to bet it all at a casino. He planned to increase the sum he started with, return the original amount to the borrower, and pocket the difference. But something seems to have gone awry in the plan, as Savi reacts to the news in a distressing way.

Looop Lapeta is the Hindi remake of the acclaimed German film titled "Run Lola Run." The upcoming film tells the story of a woman, Savi, who goes through harrowing circumstances to save the life of her partner, Satya. Pannu had recently referred to the film as "one of the quirkiest comedies" in Indian cinema.

The film is directed by Aakash Bhatia in his directorial debut, and it is produced by Sony Pictures Films India, Ellipsis Entertainment, and Aayush Maheshwari.

Looop Lapeta will premiere on Netflix on February 4, 2022.
