Love Insurance Kompany (LIK) release date confirmed! Pradeep Ranganathan-Vignesh Shivan film takes Good Friday slot

After much delays and speculations, the makers of Love Insurance Kompany starring Pradeep Ranganathan, has officially declared the release date. The film is all set to release in theatres on April 3 on Good Friday, the social media handle of the makers announced on Wednesday.

LIK release date out: When is Pradeep Rangananthan film coming out?

Director turned actor Pradeep Rangananthan faced the box office twice last year with Dragon and Dude, and emerged successfully and even delivered blockbuster success by earning 100 crores. Now, with his upcoming Love Insurance Kompany, Pradeep Ranganathan will meet the audience very soon. While the film faced delays for a while, the makers of LIK announced that it will hit theatres on April 3. It will be tapping in the Good Friday weekend.

A brand-new set of posters featuring the lead cast was released while making the release date announcement formal. The pressure is on for Pradeep Ranganathan to deliver a hattrick success, given both his previous two starrers have done exceptionally well.

What do we know about LIK so far?

LIK is touted to be a romantic drama that is set far into the future, where the evolution of relationships has become more complicated and far less easy to find true love. Amid this, a young man is determined to find a genuine romance. With Pradeep Rangananthan playing the lead role, it also stars Krithi Shetty, SJ Suryah, Gouri Kishan, Seeman and others in prominent roles.

The film is written and directed by Vignesh Shivan. It is to be noted that the film was initially announced with Sivakarthikeyan a few years ago. However, the project was put on hold and subsequently reignited with Pradeep Ranganathan. LIK marks the first time Vignesh is collaborating with Pradeep. With Anirudh Ravichander scoring the music, the makers have already released a few songs from the album.
