Love Sex Aur Dhoka 2 has been making huge headlines since the makers have begun dropping the first looks of the main cast members. Just 5 days left for LSD 2’s release on April 19, and it's already facing Censor Board issues. It's been reported that the Censor Board has cut off some crucial, intense scenes and dialogues from the film. A few days back, director Dibakar Banerjee assured that LSD 2 passed the Censor Board certification, but now they are facing some issues.

Why Censor Board suggested the cuts?

Dibakar Banerjee once said in an interview that LSD 2 is an adult film. Even many actors hesitated in the beginning to work in the sequel because of the intense theme. The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has suggested changing unethical, restricted scenes and also discussions on Section 377 in the Sequel. Now, respecting that suggestion, Banerjee and producer Ekta Kapoor have appealed for a 33A Certificate. They also announced that they made the necessary changes.

LSD 2 trailer and story

The official trailer of LSD 2 offered a glimpse into the various lives and the struggles faced by the characters. They have also introduced LGBTQ+ topic by casting Bonita Rajpurohit. The trailer hints at showing some explicit and intense stories. The sequel delves into the contemporary landscape of love, highlighting the challenges and troubles while navigating relationships in a world dominated by digital technology. It also explores the connection between various people as they struggle in this modern world while discovering their own life journeys.

The first LSD film marked National Award-winning Rajkummar Rao’s debut in Bollywood. It's quite interesting that Rao got the chance to start his career in the crime-thriller genre because it needs a lot of experience and talent. The Stree-actor is indeed one of a kind in the Hindi film industry!

Who is Bonita Rajpurohit?

Bonita Rajpurohit makes her acting debut with LSD 2. This is poised to make a significant impact on the Indian film industry, as it's the first time a transgender actor will be fronting a mainstream project. The sequel itself delves into the darker side of the digital world and reality TV, promising a thought-provoking cinematic experience. In the announcement video, Bonita was heard talking about her experience of working as an actor. While introducing herself, Bonita shared that she is from Rajasthan. She revealed that she learned about LGBTQ+ and discovered her body’s desires through films. She felt relieved to know that there were many people like her in the world, and she was not alone.
