Fans are in for an engaging, intense avatar of Rajkummar Rao as he will be seen in the upcoming action-packed film, Maalik. The teaser and trailer have already gained enough buzz, leading to anticipation of the release. Ahead of the release, Rajkummar's Maalik co-star Anshumaan Pushkar showered praise on him and shared working experience.
Anshumaan Pushkar, who will be seen sharing screen space with Rajkummar Rao in Maalik, opened up about his working experience with the actor. He called Raj a mentor-like friend who has helped him film tricky scenes in the movie.
Speaking about Rajkummar, Anshumaan said that he is among his favourite actors whose work he has followed very closely and working with him was a very great learning and exciting experience.
"On set, he is that mentor kind of good friend who makes your life easy every time. He is a bankable star actor for the industry but his work ethics, his commitment and the way he keeps him on set and mixes with his co-actors is really admirable," Anshumaan said.

Recalling an incident from the set that left a lasting impact on him, Anshumaan said that Rajkummar provides that environment that, as a co-actor, he can approach him.
"For example, it was a tricky situation in a particular scene and I was in full confusion but he made sure that not only he stands on cues with his full intensity, but later he comforted me by saying you played exactly what was needed," he narrated. He also added that Raj's craft pushed him to dig deeper as an actor and made him better in a good way, and for that, he will always be thankful to him.
Maalik stars Rajkummar Rao as a gangster who navigates the underworld and political landscape of 1980s Allahabad (now Prayagraj). The film, directed by Pulkit, features Rajkummar Rao in the titular role, with Manushi Chhillar, Prosenjit Chatterjee, and Saurabh Shukla in pivotal roles. The story revolves around Malik's rise to power, his ruthless ambitions, and the challenges he faces from rivals and law enforcement agencies.
