Maargan, the 2025 Tamil film starring actor-composer Vijay Antony in the lead role, has made its streaming debut. The film is now available for watching on Prime Video in multiple south Indian languages.

Vijay Antony’s latest film Maargan can now be watched on OTT. As reported earlier, Prime Video which has bagged the post-theatrical streaming rights of the film, dropped the film on Friday. You can stream Maargan in Tamil and other south Indian languages with English subtitles right away.
Maargan is a detective fiction film, which has a supernatural touch. The film revolves around a cop who after his daughter’s death, returns to duty to investigate a series of deaths which has occurred in the same way as his own child’s. This leads the police to a young swimmer who has an extraordinary memory skill.
Apart from Vijay Antony, Maargan also features other actors, including Samuthirakani, Brigida Saga, Mahanathi Shankar, Prithika, Vinodh Sagar, Deepshikha, Kalakka Povadhu Yaaru Archana, Kanimozhi, and Anthagaram Natarajan in prominent roles. Vijay Antony’s nephew Ajay Dhishan made his debut with Maargan.
The film is directed by editor Leo John Paul in his directorial debut. The film is shot by Yuva S and Raja A as art director. Besides starring in the film, Vijay Antony also scored the music for the film. The director has also handled the edits. Maargan opened to decent reviews upon its release.
What is Vijay Antony’s next film?
Vijay Antony’s next is titled Shakthi Thirumagan and is slated for release on in theatres on September 5. Directed by Arun Prabhu Purushottaman, the film will release along with Sivakarthikeyan’s Madharaasi and Bad Girl directed by debutant Varsha Bharath. Apart from that, Vijay Antony is also collaborating with young filmmaker Peppin George who earlier in the year debuted with his supernatural thriller Yamakaathaghi. The film is currently streaming on Aha Tamil with OTTplay Premium subscription.
