Fans of Madhavan were elated when they got to know that the multilingual actor is returning to Tamil with a project to be helmed by Thiruchitrambalam fame Mithran Jawahar. The actor recently took to social media to surprise his fans by sporting a new look.

Though there is no official update, it is considered to be the actor's appearance for his Kollywood movie which will begin soon. His last outing in Tamil was Maara which skipped theatrical release and dropped directly on Amazon Prime Video in 2021. His uber-cool look has been garnering rave reviews on social media, and the actor thanked a few of them for their love.

The latest to join the list of people who have been smitten by his smart look is actor-filmmaker Parthiban. The Rocketry star posted a short video earlier today extending Holi wishes to his fans. He said, "No shoot today...so little bored. But wish you all a very happy Holi. Have fun (sic)."

Parthiban, who is known for his wordplay on Twitter, is all praise for the actor's look and criticized him in a sarcastic manner. The Iravin Nizhal actor said that the video he has posted was shot during the time of Alaipayuthey.

Quite touched with Parthiban's compliment, Madhavan thanked him and said that his comment has made him elated. The former appreciated the latter's gesture of thanking his compliment and asked everyone to spread positivity.

Twitterati lauded Parthiban for his wordplay and loved the banter between the two talented actors. The two of them are yet to share screen presence in a movie, but Parthiban's daughter Keerthana was part of Madhavan's acclaimed film Kannathil Muthamittal, helmed by Mani Ratnam two decades ago.
