Madhuri Dixit is all set to be seen as a serial killer in Nagesh Kukunoor's upcoming thriller, Mrs Deshpande. Ahead of it, in a new interview, Madhuri opened up about Dhurandhar and Akshaye Khanna's viral performance that won people's hearts.

There's only one movie that has been making headlines and that is Aditya Dhar's Dhurandhar. The film has set a new standard for Indian cinema. Apart from Ranveer Singh, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, R. Madhavan, and others, Akshaye Khanna's performance has been widely praised. In a new interview with The Sunny G Show on YouTube, Madhuri Dixit was asked about her thoughts on Akshaye's performance.
The interviewer said that good actors get their due eventually, and one such example is Akshaye Khanna. To this, Madhuri said, "I'm so happy for him because he is such a good actor. So many movies, he has done such good work. Even when I worked with him, he was like a newcomer, and I was already a star by then, and he was new, and that was one of his first few films, and to watch him grow like that. He was amazing then, and he is amazing now, so I am very happy for him."
Meanwhile, Akshaye Khanna has shared screen with Madhuri in the 2007 film, Aaja Nachle, and the 1997 film, Mohabbat.
