Madhuri Dixit recalls meeting Rajinikanth during Cricket World Cup 2023 semi-final match: 'He's kind and humble'

Almost the entire world is right now busy watching the extremely nail-biting and tension-filled cricket world cup’s grand finale match that is being played between India and Australia in Ahmedabad. India reached the finals after beating New Zealand in the semi-final match. Speaking of the semi-final match, it was definitely memorable for many reasons than one. Besides the top-class performance displayed by India in the match, the other major reason that made the semi-final match extremely memorable was the presence of many celebs including Sachin Tendulkar, Rajinikanth, Madhuri Dixit, David Beckham and many others.

It was during the match that, Madhuri Dixit got a chance to meet up with the legendary Rajinikanth, who had been her co-star in the film ‘Uttar Dakshin’. A super excited Madhuri Dixit took to social media and posted the adjacent photograph that had her along with her husband Dr Shriram Nene and Rajinikanth!

After posting the photograph, Madhuri Dixit captioned it stating, “Keh do Uttar waalo se Dakshin waale aagye” This was a song from our movie Uttar Dakshin. I remember during the shoot Rajnikanth Ji always spoke to me in Marathi and whenever we meet, he always remembers Uttar Dakshin. What an inspiration and what a human being.
