Ajay Devgn-led Maidaan has been one of the most anticipated and awaited movies of the Hindi film industry, and the uncertainty around the project’s release was testing the patience of the fans who were waiting for it with bated breath. Turns out we are finally about to witness the release, and now the makers have released the first song from the album.

For the uninitiated, the music of Maidaan is composed by none other than the maestro himself, AR Rahman. And that piques our curiosity for the music album of the film even more. The maestro has now released the audio version of the first song from Maidaan on his official YouTube handle. The production house is yet to release the video version of the same.
The poster for Mirza features Ajay Devgn with a cigarette between his lips and an emotional and happy Priyamani, who plays his wife in the movie. Devgn yesterday on his official Instagram handle shared the news that Mirza will release today on March 18, 2024.
Mirza is a Sufi song that celebrates the arrival of the beloved. The song is written by Manoj Muntashir, who was recently in the news for his work on Adipurush. The song is sung by the stellar Richa Sharma, who has made a big comeback in the mainstream. She is also singing another AR Rahman song in the movie titled Chamkila, alongside Alka Yagnik. Richa is joined by the soothing voice of Javed Ali, who is also a frequent collaborator of the music genius. The song has a very soulful crescendo and a journey in itself.

The Maidaan trailer. that was released last week, promised a very edgy sports drama that follows a coach who wants to build an Indian football team. Directed by Amit Sharma and produced by Boney Kapoor, Maidaan is set for an Eid 2024 release, which is April 10.
