Main ATAL Hoon first song out – Soulful track by Jubin Nautiyal shows glimpses of Vajpayee’s life

Ever since the makers of Main ATAL Hoon released the first-look posters of the film, people were simply amazed at the extraordinary transformation of Pankaj Tripathi into the late Atal Bihari Vajpayee. Adding to their excitement was the intriguing trailer of the film, which upped the level of expectations from the film. The makers of Main ATAL Hoon today released the first track of the film. It's titled Desh Pehle.

The film's makers released the first song of the movie on December 25, 2023, which marks the 99th birth anniversary of Atal Bihari Vajpayee. The video of the song starts off with the ‘grand entry’ of the late Atal Bihari Vajpayee (portrayed by Pankaj Tripathi), getting down from his car and waving at the media personnel.

Life of Atal Bihari Vajpayee

This is followed by glimpses of Atal Bihari Vajpayee's life. There’s also a firing incident that takes place, which ends up burning the printing press. Amid all this, there is also an arresting moment of Atal Bihari Vajpayee typing away on his typewriter with the trademark smile on his face.

Pankaj Tripathi’s resonating voiceover

This is followed by Pankaj Tripathi’s resonating voiceover that states, ‘Yadi Bharat mata ki charnon mein, lahoo bahakar hi aagey jaana hai, to main iss padh ko grahan karne ke liye poorn roop se tayaar hoon”. 

The soulful track, Desh Pehle, has been sung by Jubin Nautiyal. The heart-touching lyrics have been penned by Manoj Muntashir, while the music of the track has been composed by Payal Dev.

Production details of Main ATAL Hoon

Directed by the award-winning director Ravi Jadhav, Main ATAL Hoon has been written by Rishi Virmani and Ravi Jadhav. The film is produced by Vinod Bhanushali, Sandeep Singh, and Kamlesh Bhanushali under the banner of Bhanushali Studios Limited and Legend Studios production. As for the release date, the film is being readied to be released on January 19, 2024.
