The latest poster of Android Kunjappan Ver. 5.25 filmmaker Ratheesh Balakrishnan Poduval’s Nna Thaan Case Kodu reflects the director’s trademark humour. The team took to their social media pages to announce the release date of the film through its poster that also hinted at the character Kunchacko Boban will be playing in the film.

The poster that featured Kunchacko’s character with his hands bound and sporting a bandage on his thigh, which is where the dogs of the owner of the house bit him as he tried to steal, also revealed that the movie will hit theatres on August 12.

In an earlier interview with OTTplay, Ratheesh had said that the movie is a satirical take on several socio-political issues and evolves as a courtroom drama. It’s about how Kunchacko’s character of Kozhummal Rajeevan takes a small issue to the court and tries to defend himself. About 80% of the movie is reportedly set in the courtoom and the team has ensured to depict the courtroom proceedings in an authentic manner, unlike most films.

Tamil actress Gayathrie Shankar, who had played Fahadh Faasil’s wife in Lokesh Kanagaraj’s Vikram, will be making her Malayalam debut with the movie. During its shoot, Kunchacko also decided to co-produce the movie after being excited about the film’s story and its making. The actor had earlier told us that the movie will have him in a never-seen-before role and speaking a dialect that he hasn’t tried in his previous movies.

Rajesh Madhavan, Saiju Kurup, Jaffer Idukki and Vinay Forrt play the other pivotal characters in the film, which was shot with sync sound. Though it handles social issues, the film is told through humour and has made room for emotions, said Kunchacko in a previous interview with OTTplay.

Meanwhile, the actor also has completed shooting for Pakalum Paathiravum, Ottu and Enthaada Saji, which has Jayasurya in an extended cameo.
